ہم جنگل کے جوگی ہم کو ایک جگہ آرام کہاں

A poet, columnist, humorist, and travelogue writer loved for past five decades by Urdu language readers around the globe named Ibn-e-Insha. What’s behind in his life that made him to write articles with ‘Full of Humor’ and poetry ‘Full of sorrows’. Two totally opposite things combined in one writer. It’s Amazing. Well he is admirable writer. I just love the way he gives words in form of poetry – very smooth, fluent and can be readable in one breath even a poetry of 56 lines have the same sequence of words and syllables. I am posting some of them here.

ہم جنگل کے جوگی ہم کو ایک جگہ آرام کہاں
آج یہاں کل اور نگر میں، صبح کہاں اور شام کہاں

ہم سے بھی پیت کی بات کرو کچھ، ہم سے بھی لوگو پیار کرو
تم تو پشیمان ہو بھی سکو گے، ہم کو یہاں پہ دوام کہاں

سانجھ سمے کچھ تارے نکلے، پل بھر چمکے ڈوب گئے
انبر انبر ڈھونڈ رہا ہے اب انہیں ماہِ تمام کہاں

دل پہ جو بیتے سہ لیتے ہیں، اپنی زباں میں کہ لیتے ہیں
انشاء جی ہم لگ کہاں اور میر کا رنگِ کلام کہاں

اک بات کہیں گے انشاء جی تمھیں ریختہ کہتے دیر ہوئی
تم ایک جہاں کا علم پڑھے، کوئی میر سا شعر کہا تم نے؟
