ہم لوگوں نے عشق ایجا کیا

A poet, columnist, humorist, and travelogue writer loved for past five decades by Urdu language readers around the globe named Ibn-e-Insha. What’s behind in his life that made him to write articles with ‘Full of Humor’ and poetry ‘Full of sorrows’. Two totally opposite things combined in one writer. It’s Amazing. Well he is admirable writer. I just love the way he gives words in form of poetry – very smooth, fluent and can be readable in one breath even a poetry of 56 lines have the same sequence of words and syllables. I am posting some of them here.

ہم لوگوں نے عشق ایجا کیا !
جب دہر کے غم سے اماں نہ ملی، ہم لوگوں نے عشق ایجاد کیا !
کبھی شہرِ بتاں میں خراب پھرے، کبھی دشتِ جنوں آباد کیا

کبھی بستیاں بن، کبھی کوہ و دمن،رہا کتنے دنوں یہی جی کا چلن
جہان حُسن ملا وہاں بیٹھ گئے، جہاں پیار ملا وہاں صاد کیا

شبِ ماہ میں جب بھی یہ درد اٹھا، کبھی بیت کہے ، لکھی چاندنگر
کبھی کوہ سے جاسر پھوڑ مرے، کبھے قیس کو جا استاد کیا

یہی عشق بالآخر روگ بنا، کہ ہے چاہ کے ساتھ بجگ بنا
جسے بننا تھا عیش وہ سوگ بنا، بڑا مَن کے نگر میں فساد کیا

اب قربت و صحبتِ یار کہاں، اب و عارض و زلف و کنار کہاں
اب اپنا بھی میر سا عالم ہے، ٹک دیکھ لیا جی شاد کیا
